Day 1 - Zion and THE Narrows

Smash down a Lumber-Jill breakfast before meeting your group at 7:00 AM at our Rendezvous Hotel in Las Vegas. There, your Explorer Chick Guides will welcome you with an official orientation before we load up the SHE-nanigan Shuttle for a scenic 2.5-hour transfer to Zion National Park.

Your first drive into Zion is the kind of moment that sticks with you—jaw-dropping, awe-inducing, and definitely drool-worthy. Towering sandstone walls loom overhead as we make our way to gear up for our first adventure: an unforgettable trek through The Narrows.

Wading through copper-hued waterfalls and winding through narrowing canyon walls, we’ll hike upstream to the legendary Wall Street, where sheer cliffs rise dramatically on either side. It’s a real-life portal to another world.

After emerging from the Virgin River, we’ll shuttle to our luxurious glamping digs, the perfect place to unwind. As the sun sets, we’ll settle in around the campfire, swapping stories of the day’s adventures beneath a sky full of stars.

NOTE: Hiking the Narrows is not guaranteed. The Park closes the river to hiking when water levels are high and dangerous. In case of closure, your Explorer Chick guides will have alternative hiking plans.

Day 2 - Bryce Canyon and Hoodoos

It’s a sunup to sundown day in Bryce Canyon. After crushing a hot breakfast, we’ll board the SHE-nanigan Shuttle to cruise the largest collection of hoodoos on Planet Earth. Our big hike of the day starts at the canyon rim overlooking Bryce Amphitheater which can only be described as a mosh pit of rock formations.

We’ll leave the gawking tourists behind to wander deep among the hoodoos on a remote trail. Cull your photo roll to make space for all the stunning scenery Bryce Canyon has to offer.

The rest of our day will be spent exploring the shorter trails in Bryce Park to squeeze out every second of sunlight. On our return to camp, we’ll stop for a hot dinner to silence our gremlin bellies.

Hiking Time: 5 hours

Day 3 - Canyoneering in Greater Zion

The Zion area is home to some of the best slot canyons in the country. Slowly carved by wind and water, these canyons are best explored by scrambling, down-climbing, rappelling, and wading. In the span of 4 hours you’ll conquer multiple rappels with your highest at 70 feet! YOU’RE BASICALLY ON THE COVER OF OUTSIDE MAGAZINE NOW.

This route is perfect for beginners with no experience. Just show up willing to go ALL IN and back off the edge into the canyon. We’ll snap you cheesin’ and score plenty of Glamour Shots as the light dances off the red sandstone walls.

Your afternoon is free. You can decide to tack on another hike in Zion as recommended by your guides, take your bra off back at camp, or catch an epic sunset from the hot tub.

Hiking Distance: 2.3 miles. 459′ gain.
Hiking Time: 4-6 hours plus optional hikes

Day 4 - Hiking Scout Lookout and Goodbyes

Hold those tears back—we have one last epic hike!

It’s an early start as we head back into the park, ready to tackle our final challenge: hiking up all 21 of Walter’s Wiggles to Scout Lookout.

Your legs might burn, but the sweeping views will be worth every step. We’ll pause for a well-earned breather and some photos before descending to a more leisurely trek to the stunning Upper and Lower Emerald Pools, where shimmering waterfalls and serene streams offer the perfect send-off.

SOAK IT ALL IN, GIRL! After a weekend of gnarly hikes, belly laughs, and unbreakable bonds, you’ve earned this high. We’ll hug it out before rolling back to Las Vegas, a 2.5-hour drive filled with reflection, triumph, and just a little well-earned exhaustion.

The courage in your heart—and the adventure still clinging to your boots—will carry you until your next Explorer Chick escapade.

Wanna turn up the adventure this afternoon?

Add on a guided UTV Slot Canyon Tour—an easygoing yet adventurous off-road ride through the wild heart of Southern Utah. Your professional guide will drive the UTV as you head deep into red rock country to explore two jaw-dropping slot canyons.

Skip the strenuous hiking—you’ll ride straight to the canyon mouths, hop out, and walk right into those dramatic, twisting sandstone walls. It’s the perfect mix of rugged fun and stunning scenery. Guide tip is included in the cost of this add-on.

This trip is rated Active because of the length and frequency of hiking for all 4 days as detailed below. Canyoneering may prove challenging to those who are weary of heights. The canyoneering portion involves multiple rappels up to 70 feet high. It is a beginner friendly route.

Daily Hiking:

Day 1: 5 miles river walking. 5 hours.
Day 2: 7.8 miles. 1,545; gain.
Day 3: Canyoneering. 2.3 miles. 459′ gain.
Day 4: 6.29 miles. 1,650′ gain.

Plus, optional side hikes of varying distances/elevation.

Please consider your ability to meet the physical demands very seriously. It is for the safety of both you and our group. All Explorer Chicks will be required to sign an Acknowledgement of Physical Demands as part of their waiver upon booking.

8 women came together to experience the magic of Utah, and let’s just say, the desert will never be the same 🏜

We kicked things off with an unforgettable wander through the Narrows. Fast friends by mile one, we tackled this bucket list hike with wide eyes and full hearts.

Day 2 brought the Fairyland Loop in Bryce, 8 miles of beauty, but not before we suited up with glitter and wings, obviously. We ended the day with ho-made pies (yes, really) and a soak under a star-studded sky 💫

On Day 3, we rappelled into a stunning slot canyon, fear faced, check. Then came a bumpy, giggly UTV ride through the rugged desert. Dinner? A dreamy farm-to-table spot with fluffy animal friends for dessert.

We closed things out in Zion with a hike up to Scout’s Lookout and the legendary views from Angel’s Landing. Chains and all, we crushed it 🥾

There were giggles till our faces hurt, a 40th birthday to celebrate, spontaneous parkour + vampire videos (don’t ask 😆), and loud singing, even when we didn’t know the words. Reunion tour planning? Already in motion.

This was my third trip with Explorer Chick and the Zion/Bryce Canyon trip was epic. Each hike explored different landscapes and was better than the last, ending with the Narrows and a surprise charcuterie board. Our guides, Nicole and Heather were amazing, teaching us about the area and fueling us with the best trail lunches, the sandwiches were unreal! From the moment we all met, both guides had infectious energy that had us all laughing like old friends.I hope to have them as guides on a future trip, they really made an amazing experience!

My first trip with Explorer Chicks to Zion and Bryce was everything I could’ve hoped for! Our guides Mary and Lauren were exceptional! They were extremely knowledgeable, very kind and continued to make our journey easy and enjoyable throughout. They made sure that our whole group was not rushing so we could really be present and experience all the beauty around us. Plus the planning of the trip was flawless from start to finish. I made connections with amazing women and I can’t wait until my next trip with Explorer Chicks!!

My trip was to Zion and Bryce Canyon. OMG, what a great adventure. Our guides, Mary and Brooke were so awesome. This was my second Explorer Chick Trip, and it's the only way to go, for me. The company takes care of everything, all I had to do was Show Up!!It really doesn't get any better than this. If you're thinking about taking a trip with these gals, don't hesitate. My 4-day Zion and Bryce Canyon trip with Explorer Chick was over-the-top amazing. Each day brought a new adventure, made even better by our fabulous guides, Mary and Brooke. They were awesome! Fun, encouraging, and super invested in making sure we all had a great experience. (I mean, who carries a watermelon and cutting board on a trail climbing 1,100 feet in two miles just to surprise us with a special lunch treat?!?) I signed up for the promise of fun, adventure, and a sense of empowerment, and this trip delivered on all three. An unexpected bonus was getting to know 11 other incredible women spanning nearly 40 years in age. We started out as strangers, but four days of laughter, encouragement, and cheering each other on turned into a joyous celebration of sisterhood. It was such a cool reminder that friendship and adventure have no age limit. This was my second trip with Explorer Chick and I'm already dreaming of where I want to go next. I’d absolutely recommend this company to anyone looking for a fun adventure with a great group of women. Both my experiences have been exceptional.

My 2nd trip with Explorer Chick did not disappoint! Zion and Bryce Canyon trip was stellar! Mary and Brooke took great care of 10 of us crazy chick's, ensuring every need was met and always maintained safety at every activity. I honestly don't think anyone was ever less than happy, from singing at the top of our lungs in the canyon (acoustics were great) to enjoying lunch overlooking Bryce Canyon and all of the fun goofy conversations. This trip was fantastic, our guides were the icing on the cake. Well done!

I just took an amazing trip to Zion and Bryce National Parks with Explorer Chick! Everything about this trip was top notch. Everything was well planned and coordinated. Our FANTASTIC guides, Lauren and Christina, were very experienced and knowledgable about every thing we did/saw/experienced. They kept us well fed, hydrated, cared for during then entire adventure. We hiked and rappelled through some breathtaking scenery and glamped in tents that literally had all the comforts of home. Several of us were solo travelers. The entire vibe of the group was welcoming and supportive. I highly recommend this company to any woman looking try out an adventurous vacation.

Wonderful Explorer Chick hiking/glamping trip with my sister in Bryce Canyon and Zion National Park! Our guides - Lauren and Christina - were fantastic, the weather was glorious, and the landscape was stunning. We hiked through rivers and up mountainsides and rappelled down a few. Already looking forward to our next adventure!

Two absolutely amazing guides, Lauren and Christina, took us on our adventure to Zion and Bryce. Our group was pampered with snacks galore, Trader Joe’s-inspired lunches, and glamping accommodations we all appreciated. Lauren and Christina were not only knowledgeable about the areas we visited, but they also intentionally curated a trip that built camaraderie and honored each of our skill levels. Several of the women in our group, including me, were first-time Explorer Chicks travelers. This trip was a reminder of how important it is to invest in myself and build connections with women who share the same love for nature and adventure. I had been following Explorer Chick for several years before finally booking a trip, and I couldn’t be happier that I chose Zion/Bryce as my first experience. I already can’t wait to book my next adventure!

Just returned from an amazing 4-day hiking trip in Zion & Bryce National Parks in Utah. Explorer Chick made it all seem effortless; they took care of EVERYTHING....imagine not having to decide what to cook, shop, prepare, clean up - that, to me was heaven!! I can't say enough about our guides; Kirstie & Lauren were Fabulous!! They provided suggestions on what to pack & how to layer for the days weather & planned activity . Not only were they informative about the area but they were super supportive, both mentally & physically - whether you needed encouragement to conquer that last mile or confidence to handle the heights both guides had your back every time. The accommodations were fun & comfortable, meals & snacks were abundant & delicious and they took into consideration dietary needs if necessary. They also took all the photos so you could stash your phone & just enjoy every moment without missing anything. Our group had so much fun sharing stories, laughing & singing - my only regret was not booking a trip sooner and now all I can think about is when and where to go next?!?! If you're looking at this group just book it, you won't regret it!
