Along the trail keep your eyes peeled for hidden caves, lizards, pre-historic fossils, and your desert glamour shot. On the way back to our Explorer Chick House, we’ll make a stop at one of the best preserved petroglyph sites in Utah. Hundreds of petroglyphs puzzle historians as they attempt to decipher stories from centuries ago. More from Moab Ten wild-hearted women, one epic Moab adventure. 🌵✨From the moment we hit Canyonlands, the wind tried to steal our hats (literally over the cliff—but we got it back!) and our breath as we hiked those rocky trails like pros. 🤟We nailed handstands (with a little expert help), chased waterfalls in the desert, and held on tight as our 4x4s conquered cliffs like champions. Just when we thought it couldn’t get better, the sun dipped behind Delicate Arch, painting the sky in colors we’ll never forget. 🌅Oh, and rappelling down a 130-foot cliff? Yep, we did that too. 🧗♀️Moab, you gave us thrills, chills, and memories we’ll be bragging about for ages. Until next time, we already miss you! ❤️P.S. If you’re looking for a NYE date, we’ve got 4 spots left on our New Year’s Moab trip—the absolute best way to start 2025! 🎉 Comment “NYE” and I’ll send you the link! #explorerchickmoab #moabutah #womenwhohike #womenwhotravel #grouptrips #moab #moabnationalpark #hikemoab 92 1 Open 92 1 We had an All-Star team of inspired and inspiring ladies for the last Moab trip of the spring season. Everybody showed up looking for a reset from their individually busy lives and, led by a geologist-philosopher and a wilderness-therapist-rainmaker, by the end of the four hour van ride on day one, everybody had offered deep personal revelations spanning motherhood to divorce to widowhood. The trip was a reminder that we are all going through something and that women rise and thrive when they get to open up to other women. The summer heat slowed our roll on most of the hikes but we made the most of our time in the shade, asking each other lots of questions and sharing hard-earned insights from every stage and walk of life. It wasn’t all serious—we all joined in some epic singalongs in the ShenaniVan, with “I Feel Like A Natural Woman” bringing out even the shyest voices in the group. The sound of nine ladies belting their hearts out to Aretha Franklin might be my favorite guiding experience yet.”💗Explorer Chick Mary’s Recap of the last Moab Trip of the season.Catch you in Moab again this fall!#explorerchickmoab #archesnationalpark #canyonlands #solofemaletraveler #hikingtrip 116 2 Open 116 2 👀Inside peek at our Moab Hiking & National Parks Trip💬Comment “MOAB” to get the itinerary.🔥AND get 10% OFF when you book by June 2nd! While I am relieved I trained (it came in REAL handy) I couldn’t have been more wrong about group dynamics.💗Our guides, Christina and Katie, created a sense of camaraderie among us, and supported each of us in incredible ways that produced an experience that I suspect will not be forgotten by any of us.👵🏼Our group included women in their 30’s to “almost* 70 and all body types. We laughed and snorted and sang and encouraged and overcame and we all probably thought we were going to die at one point or another- BUT WE DIDN’T. In Her Words Quincy S.How can a person rate or review what finding a little bit peace and clarity is like?I have had the pleasure of being on two EC trips since October 2024.My first trip was in October of 2024 to Moab with guides Katie and Nikki. That trip changed my life.It is my belief that everyone signing up for an EC trip is searching for something. It just happens to be a little different for everyone.I happened to be searching for me.Who would have guessed that I would find her in the quiet and in the beauty of Utah with a group of strangers. That trip reminded me that I am not just a wife, and momma. It helped me to filter out most of the crap floating around in my head and just focus on me for a few days.My second trip with EC was in September of this year with Christina and Nikki in Yosemite.Christina and Nikki, were the perfect guides for that trip, they were just what I needed. (shoutout to Nikki for being on my last trip and remembering that I love to eat PB sammies on white bread while I hike!)Yosemite with all of the women on that trip was an experience I will never forget, because I almost didn’t go.But I am so glad that I did.I needed all of it, the adventure, the laughs, the beauty, and the opportunity to feel a little more like myself.Pressing pause on home life and getting out of your comfort zone takes some courage, but with the help of EC and some absolute kick ass women I did it and so can you.Thank you, EC, for helping me find a little more of myself of these amazing trips.QuincyHelene M.Had an incredible experience hiking in Moab and Arches National Park. The guides handled everything and took great care of us.Mary CMy trip to Moab was stellar! Accommodations, activities and food were all excellent. I saw the beautiful landscape as advertised, but I actually received something even better- the bond of new friendships. Our guides Mary and Stephanie facilitated the whole trip like the pros they are. I can hardly wait for my next outing with Explorer Chicks!💕Alex B.What an absolutely incredible experience! Christina and Hannah did such an incredible job leading our group through Moab. This was the best experience of my life and i absolutely recommend it!!!Christine R.I'd give 10 stars if that was an option. My hiking trip to Moab was an amazing experience. Guides, Mary and Steph took it levels above what I expected. I came home tired, educated and rejuvenated with 8 new amazing women friends.Dawn Julian M.I just got back from the Moab/Arches trip, and wow, what a fantastic adventure! Kayla and Jess were incredible, making every moment super enjoyable. It was such a treat to just relax and soak in the experience without worrying about the details. I’m definitely booking with Explorer Chick again!Monika M.I explored Arches and Canyonlands National parks solo with 6 other women and two fabulous guides, Katie and Kayla with EC. I felt immediately comfortable with our group and found it very rewarding and retreat like. We hiked, we kareoked, we laughed, and did the challenging things, it was so worth it. This company makes great lady adventures and you don’t have to lift a finger just your feet. You will not regret this trip. Loved it.Julie M.First Explorer Chick trip to Moab and Arches. Our guide Christina was wonderful. She was very familiar with the area and was able to switch the days of certain hikes to accommodate weather delays at the start. The trip included a great group of women which made it even more enjoyable. Trekking poles were really useful for our long hike in the Needles district. Our guide had a few extras for those that didn’t bring them. I was able to get laundry done on the third day, so I could have packed less clothes.Jennifer L.Just finished an amazing trip to Moab and Arches with Christina and an awesome group of 9 other women. This was my first trip solo and all the women were so supportive of each other. We went places I could never have the courage to do alone. Everything was so well planned and Christina was so great at changing itinerary on the fly when weather got in the way. Will definitely be booking another trip soon.Kaylee M.This was my first solo trip and it was an unforgettable experience. Our guides Katie and Nicole had everything planned to a T. The views were amazing and the group of women made it a trip with endless laughter. If you’re debating going on a solo trip, look no further.
