Amazing experience! Highly recommend! I went to Zion National Park and Bryce Canyon with Kirstie and Lauren and it was absolutely unforgettable.

Just returned from an amazing 4-day hiking trip in Zion & Bryce National Parks in Utah.  Explorer Chick made it all seem effortless; they took care of EVERYTHING....imagine not having to decide what to cook, shop, prepare, clean up - that, to me was heaven!!

I can't say enough about our guides; Kirstie & Lauren were Fabulous!! They provided suggestions on what to pack & how to layer for the days weather & planned activity . Not only were they informative about the area but they were super supportive, both mentally & physically - whether you needed encouragement to conquer that last mile or confidence to handle the heights both guides had your back every time.

The accommodations were fun & comfortable, meals & snacks were abundant & delicious and they took into consideration dietary needs if necessary.  They also took all the photos so you could stash your phone & just enjoy every moment without missing anything.

Our group had so much fun sharing stories, laughing & singing - my only regret was not booking a trip sooner and now all I can think about is when and where to go next?!?!

If you're looking at this group just book it, you won't regret it!

I just returned from the Bryce and Zion trip. I can't say enough about every facet of the trip. The food, the schedule, the lodging accommodations, the support, the people and the information we learned-- all 5 star! Our guides Kirstie and Lauren took care of every detail, even the ones that came up last minute. Their caring, humor and compassion for every member of the group was unparalleled. I have an extreme fear of heights and they supported me while I canyoneered and walked through some very narrow paths with little to no guard rails. I came home energized, empowered, and ready to take another Explorer chicks adventure!

What a fantastic trip! Our guides Mary and Christina were absolutely wonderful. Mary’s knowledge of geology and Christina’s knowledge of flora and fauna really added to the experience. They were both so supportive and encouraging. The lodging and food was great, safety was a priority and so many snacks!

Just got back from Zion & Bryce Canyon. Kirstie & Lauren were our guides for the weekend and they delivered the most epic experience ever. They thought of everything for us-it was so nice to not have to worry about anything. They fed us and provided snacks and told us what we should be wearing for our days adventures. It was also nice to hear the history of where we were about to hike and explore. They were so patient and kind and will stay right by your side to get you up that hill or help you repel down that wall. They also take tons of pictures so that you truly can be in the moment and not have to worry about reaching for your phone to capture the moment. I will be booking another trip with them! Best experience ever!

Alaska was AMAZING! Our guides Nicole and Lauren were phenomenal - they thought of EVERYTHING & this was an epic trip and my first with Explorer Chick.
I enjoyed every minute, every adventure, every person (all strangers day 1, but will forever call friends), but my favorite experience was ice climbing. Highly recommend EC.

Red River Gorge Kentucky Backpacking EC Trip was such an AWESOME learning experience. Our guides Ashley and Amy were such incredible leaders and sources of endless information. They answered EVERY question (& I had tons!) and taught us how to pack our backpacks, filter water, cook and set up our tents at the backcountry campsite and gave me so much more confidence that I could tackle it again!! Hansen's Point sunset hike was definitely a highlight for me. I highly recommend Explorer Chicks!!

This trip was amazing. Truly life changing and my explorer chick guides Christina and Mary were the best. This trip exceeded my expectations. The beautiful scenery of Zion and Bryce Canyon was magical. Both guides were there for my struggles, successes, tears and pure joy of this trip. From making sure my dietary needs were met, to taking pictures, helping with poles, bags, what to pack each day abled me to truly let go with the explorer chicks in charge and having everything taken care of.

Explorer Chicks Moab delivered 110% of what I was hoping for! Our guides Savannah and Nikki set the tone from the start - friendly, fierce and foodies!! We all appreciated their expertise and that they shared tips and tales from their travels, as well as being by our sides the entire way encouraging and accepting each one of us at our own pace. We were 4 60 year olds with three other younger women and the guides made us feel comfortable canyoneering and rappelling around Canyonlands and Arches. They made outstanding, delicious home cooked meals that far surpassed our expectations, drove us, led our hikes, photographed us, fed us and made us laugh. All this with zero stress and always making us feel safe. Loooved our guides, the scenery, the challenge and the food. I recommend you do it, as along the way we also made new friends and everlasting memories.

I just participated in a four day Moab trip guided by Savannah and Nicole and I can't imagine that anyone could possibly walk away from this experience with anything but incredible memories of adventure, fun and camaraderie! Everything was PERFECT!!

I booked my 1st solo trip ever and chose Explorer Chick; so glad I did!!!!
The trip was so much fun from start to finish. Our guides were very knowledgeable and answered all questions as our group was eager to learn about the area we were touring.
Mary & Christina are top notch…they really created a special experience for the group; very memorable!!! They created a safe space in which we could “let our hair down” and be ourselves. Provided endless amounts of encouragement throughout the trip. And they pampered us with the most delicious meals day after day.
I can honestly say these two ladies will be the reason I book another solo trip with EC:)

I went on my first solo group trip to Zion & Bryce Canyon trip with Explorer chick! I was amazed by how knowledgeable, kind and helpful the guides -Mary and Christina were. Their encouragement during the difficult parts of the hikes made it possible! All the women on this trip were really wonderful! I could not have gone with a better group than this! And I will be looking forward to my next trips with explorer chick!

This was my second experience:
I rebooked with EC because I had a fabulous time going to the smokies with EC. For my second experience with EC I chose the 4 day Moab trip. I was very fortunate to have Lauren and Savannah as my guides, they are extremely experienced in all the elements, give practical directions on how to be efficient during hiking and are just plain cool women. They empowered us all, adjusted to people's needs/ wants and gently let our group know that we could do it! Again the itinerary is incredibly thought out and I love not having to think about ANY plan, it is delightful and big change from my day-to-day. Thank you Lauren, Savannah and our sweet group!

Had an AMAZING trip in Iceland! Mary was a fantastic guide who played great music and provided delicious snacks. The guest house on a working sheep farm served delicious meals. Then there was Iceland itself - just incredibly otherworldly.

My first Explorer Chick (EC) trip did not disappoint. Having been to Iceland before, hiking to far off sites allowed for new experiences. Our EC guide Mary did an exceptional job wrangling us, keeping everyone happy, engaged, and always had "snacks on the bus." Weather in Iceland is tricky this time of year, but it didn't stop the fun and excitement, Mary did alot of work behind the scenes, coordinating alternate plans as needed. The laughs, talks, and camaraderie with fellow chicks was a bonus! I will definitely check out other trips with EC!

You know you're having fun when your giggles can be heard above the roaring winter Icelandic winds! From the first meet and greet around a table to the farewell tears at the airport, this trip exceeded any and all expectations. Our Explorer Chick guide Mary and local guide Dagny expertly guided us through many of Iceland's wonders - from dipping into welcoming hot river on a mountain slope to traversing a magical ice cave. They kept us safe and also entertained :)

I have food restrictions (vegetarian and gluten free) that usually bring stress (and often times hunger!) on trips. After our first dinner when I realized that Mary had it all taken care of, I could relax and know that I would have excellent food available at every meal without me having to explain my needs. As anyone with restrictions knows, this is PRICELESS!

This was my first trip with the Chicks and I'm already working on deciding where to go for my next!
